The Rocking Rock


This stimulating and scenic low level hill walk starts from the Lumpers Pub Ravensdale. En route, at Trumpet hill, hear legendary tales of the battle for the Brown Bull of Cooley. Walk through peaceful forest trails to the Rocking Rock, a stunning viewpoint overlooking the plains of Mhuirhevna and the lands of Oriel. On the return journey, visit a hidden sacred Massrock and reflect on the way of life during famine times. A circular walk with amazing views and tall tales!
