About Me

Based in Ravensdale, North Louth, local guide Venora will share her passion for this landscape, its mountains and forests, through its history, storytelling and nature and her intimate knowledge of this borderland area.

Gentle hill walks vie with quirky forest and river trails, awash with sacred sites and Victorian follies, bronze age settlements and famine walls. At a slower pace, biodiverse mindful walks can soothe the spirit. All walks are set among the stunning scenery of the unexplored mountains of Cooley and Ring of Gullion, the home of mighty warriors, Cu Chulainn and Fionn mac Cumhaill. Above all, the visitor will experience a huge welcome!
